First note, good job layout person who put too many ads in so there’s zero credits anywhere to the creative team. I’m sure they enjoy that.

This was a nice wrap-up to the main mystery. It wasn’t groundbreaking, but it served as a end-cap. I liked that it was Professor Strange trying to bring out Calamity that caused all the problems. Though what a creepy stalker!

It’ll be interesting to see the fallout between Olive and Pomeline since she revealed in a blunt manner that Olive’s father was killed by Calamity, not in an accident.

I do like the twist that Calamity is a spirit power passed between the Silverlocks. I hope that Olive learns how to harness it. And that she talks to Professor MacPherson about the entire thing. Clearly, Ham growling at Olive signaled a change in her, and likely that change is Calamity.

I decided that I’m going to stop reading the book here since Cloonan has left the title and the direction has been changed. I’m also in a period of cutting books that I’m not enjoying as much (or reading for other reasons), and unfortunately, this book is included in the cut. Especially after I read issue #13 and it wasn’t my cuppa.
