Nope, this book’s not doing it for me. I just removed it from my pull list, and though I still have a couple issues yet to read.

Just another tale with a bunch of women who can’t control themselves that Tony has to put down. Seriously, is Extremis actually all about taking away women’s agency.

And Land’s art doesn’t help at all. All the women look identical. So Tony may supposed to be uncomfortable killing them, but it doesn’t come through in the entire book from the way its written to the way it’s drawn. You can’t feel sympathy for people who look interchangeable.

Space is fun. I can’t help but wonder if Tony’s just running away from everything. Seems like something he might not want to do, especially given Maya’s death. I mean, wasn’t that his mission? I am not sad that I kicked this book from my pull list.

Eli looks a ton like Obadiah Stane. Thanks for that beautiful art, Land. You always know how to make each character look different from each other.

Good thing that Pepper will be holding down the fort at Stark Industries.

If every comic book was making fun of Tony Stark’s stupid facial hair in this book, I might keep reading. The women screaming and vomiting made me laugh so much. Land’s art just made the entire thing 1000xs more hilariously bad.

Yeah, I don’t really get this Space Knight get up. And how he’s just the playboy of the stars apparently.

This book just makes me super sad.
