I’m a big fan of this issue. I loved the funeral for Elle and how everyone standing around either didn’t believe she was dead or was holding onto hopes to find her body and restore her.
Interesting how McCann’s framing Ed to be so upset over Elle’s death that he had a stroke. I didn’t really see that coming, and I applaud McCann for the layers that this adds to Ed’s character.
I’m really excited for the next arc. These other Daughters of Jairus are super intriguing, and I cannot wait for them. While reading Erik’s back story, I did wonder what happened to the other four guys.
Yeah, bringing in Antoinette is awesome. However, they may have to start doing things the legal way.

This was a very weak issue. Like the characters were stalling or we were supposed to feel the break at the book took. Or just the impact of how scared the characters actually are. Especially since Jo’s sleeping with a baseball bat and Eddie’s questioning if Dane knows how to use weapons.
I’m wondering if something went wrong with Regan. In a way that she actually needs the help of Elle’s family. If she says that Elle’s not the only Daughter of Jairus and there are more, where are they? Why is it only Regan and Elle here?
Which secret of Eddie’s is his mother after? And if she lets him in on Elle being kidnapped, will he tell the others?
This just felt stalled.
