Things I appreciate: Goals!
Things I appreciate part II: The introduction in the beginning to catch everyone up with the current antics of Suzie and Jon and the rest of the gang. Yeah, this book’s been so inconsistent in publishing that it was a relief.
Things I appreciate part III: A regular publishing schedule, at least through the arc.
Let’s talk about goals. There’s nothing sexier. Seriously, I am with Suzie. Maybe I am Suzie here. I have someone who doesn’t think goals are a thing. You can’t just drift through life without some kind of purpose. Especially if you are unhappy.
Though now Kegelface has crossed some lines. You do not fuck with Anna’s employment.

Minus or plus 1 star for Zdarsky’s butt…IDK.
I like that Myrtle does actually work at the police station. She’s just the front desk person. Myrtle would be so scary that you’d never want to report a crime. Also, if she’s so unhappy, why doesn’t she just change her life and do anything she wants. Except you can tell that she loves being a sex cop. But that doesn’t mean she needs to keep the sleep farter and the kiddos.
Maybe it’s the whole masturbating and never finishing bit that keeps Myrtle so Kegelfaced. Imagine that as your mom! (Sorry, that was my inner Zdarsky.)
Oh, Todd Stubaker, our latest sex criminals who has creepy troll golems with giant hands, feet, and penii in his time vortex. Fraction and Zdarsky keep upping the grossness. I know they’re getting creative, but we’re definitely getting with the incredibly weird. Seems like most people aren’t that creative to have so many creative sex criminals.
Or maybe this is all standard stuff.
Jon continues to be the worst.

The best of this issue was by far Anna’s crush on David. The crush doesn’t make any sense. But yet, here we are. I love how Anna just lays it out for him and tells her exactly what she wants and what she doesn’t want. And that she makes sure he likes her academic work, not just her pornos.
The convention was so creepy. And it’s exactly what I’m sure that type of convention is like. No doubt Anna had lots of dudes asking her if they could spit on her tits. Not enough money in this world. (Though I am surprised that she doesn’t have more cash. Also that she could be fired so easily, though I imagine that this “scandal” is mostly to do with her being a woman.)
I’m not sure how I feel about Fraction and Zdarsky never showing us what Jon was buying Suzie. Though she was 100% in her right to question whether or not he was getting cash by robbing banks again. I feel for Suzie as I also have a partner who likes to buy sex toys all the time, thinking that the toys will solve communication problems. Buying shit is not usually a solution for your relationship problems.
I do kind of like Rachel and Robert. They are adorable in their mismatched-ness.
