Satsu appears in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer comic book. She’s Japanese, and she’s an out lesbian. Satsu quickly became one of the best fighters and one of Buffy’s favorite new Slayers.
Satsu falls in love with Buffy. When Buffy’s put under a magical sleeping spell, it is Satsu’s true love’s kiss that awakens her. Willow Rosenberg, along with the rest of the cast of Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, started out on the small screen. But now, she appears in the comic book, which continues the series.
Willow herself was a breakthrough as one of the first lesbian characters on network television. Willow is a computer nerd, the bookish smart one, and a witch.
